DevOps Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Execute standard access requests for Azure Entra ID, AWS IAM, and GitHub.

• Oversee repository access and maintain centralized Entra groups for project-specific resource allocations.

• Triage and address incoming “INTS” infrastructure and support tickets within established SLAs, generally 5–10 business days.

• Provision and manage cloud resources such as S3, Blob, Key Vaults, and Virtual Machines utilizing standardized Terraform templates.

• Conduct OS-level maintenance tasks including storage cleanup, file permission management, and basic server troubleshooting.

• Assist in cost-optimization initiatives through appropriate resource tagging and cloud-instance right-sizing.

• Manage namespace-level access and resource distribution within Kubernetes.

• Provide support to developers with essential Kubernetes tasks, including pod analysis and deployment validation via Argo CD.

• Facilitate the onboarding process for new projects within the Kubernetes environment.

• Utilize AI coding agents, such as Claude, to generate scripts, validate Terraform plans, and troubleshoot infrastructure challenges.

• Implement prompt engineering strategies with Model Context Protocol servers for automated policy checks and compliance verification.

• Document recurring solutions in the “Shared Services” knowledge base to empower developer self-service.

⛳️ Requirements

• Basic understanding of AWS or Azure, covering compute, storage, and networking components.

• Comprehension of Kubernetes essentials, including namespaces, pods, and deployments.

• Proficiency in utilizing LLMs and employing prompt engineering techniques.

• Capability to triage technical issues and adhere to standard operating procedures.

• 0–2 years of experience in a technical support, IT, or junior cloud position.
