This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the daily administration and functionality of the DevOps stack at RxBenefits.
• Collaborate closely with the Development and Infrastructure teams to enhance our CI/CD stack and integrate monitoring and observability into our applications.
• Design and implement CI/CD platforms that are AWS-enabled.
• Provide assistance to the Development team to ensure they can fully leverage the CI/CD pipeline.
• Contribute to the evaluation and recommendation of tools and technologies for DevOps.
• Manage code deployments, fixes, updates, and associated processes.
• Engage with Management and the Development, Infrastructure, and Security teams.
• Proactively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production, identifying and resolving problems before launch.
• Automate operational processes as necessary, ensuring accuracy and compliance with security requirements.
• Continuously share knowledge with all members of the software/IT team.
• Advocate for "DevOps" concepts whenever feasible.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in DevOps or a closely related discipline.
• Proficient in core AWS platform architecture.
• Strong expertise in Linux-based infrastructures, Linux administration, and AWS.
• Scripting skills with the capability to develop scripted AWS infrastructure.
• Experience with cloud automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, ArgoCD, and GitHub.
• Knowledge of scripting languages, including Perl, Ruby, Python, and Bash.
• Understanding of Apache Tomcat and Apache HTTP Server, as well as Nginx.
• Knowledge of microservice-based architectures.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon Container Services.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues before they escalate.
• Experience with project management and workflow tools such as Jira.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects and processes to meet commitments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) across all organizational levels.
• Skills in process and technical documentation.
• Strong time and project management abilities, with a talent for prioritizing and multitasking as required.
