DevOps Engineer

📋 Description

• Deploy and maintain essential applications utilizing cloud-native, distributed, and serverless architecture.

• Implement automation, observability, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code practices.

• Oversee effective and dependable CI/CD pipelines across various environments to reduce developer friction.

• Design and execute secure automation solutions for development, testing, and production settings.

• Apply industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management in collaboration with the SecOps team.

• Enhance system reliability through automation, monitoring, and operational best practices.

• Promote and enhance knowledge sharing processes within the engineering team.

• Collaborate and support a cross-functional engineering team.

• Participate in on-call responsibilities in rotation with the engineering team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a comparable role within the technology sector.

• At least 3 years of experience in large-scale distributed system development.

• Experience in the fintech sector is preferred, or equivalent experience in regulated environments with compliance requirements (e.g., SOC2, PCI DSS).

• A minimum of 3 years working in DevOps.

• Proficient with CI/CD pipelines and tools, with a preference for Github Actions.

• Experience with AWS and its managed services (AWS Lambda, ECS, SNS, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon CloudWatch).

• Familiarity with control plane architecture supporting multiple AWS accounts and organizations.

• Strong skills in incident response, including detection, investigation, containment, and recovery, particularly in complex cloud-native environments.

• Willingness to engage in a shared on-call rotation for security incidents.
