This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines to facilitate the building and deployment of our software.
• Responsible for the provisioning and upkeep of systems, load balancer configurations, firewall rules, databases, and various other automation-driven infrastructure tasks.
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues.
• Strive to implement practices that enhance platform stability and cost-efficiency.
• Assume responsibility for platform standardization projects, including migration to Granicus standard tools and technologies.
• Provide escalation support for the SRE team.
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Over 2 years of practical experience within the DevOps framework.
• Proficient in Linux and Windows administration.
• Strong capability in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
• Solid understanding of cloud hosting infrastructure.
• Experience in designing and implementing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and Terraform.
• Strong grasp of continuous integration and continuous deployment concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud networking principles.
• Knowledge of source code management, preferably GitLab.
• Understanding of containerization principles.
• A keen interest in security and identifying avenues for enhancing security and testing processes.
• Excellent communication skills essential for collaboration across support and engineering teams.
• Monitor infrastructure and applications for enhancements, as well as analyze application and system logs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, including performance bottlenecks and system outages.
• Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Ability to leverage AI tools and technologies to boost productivity, enhance decision-making, and foster innovation in daily tasks.
