DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee, ensure the reliability of, and enhance AWS cloud resources, including EC2, RDS, Lambda, and ECS.

• Decrease dependency on traditional infrastructure while increasing the utilization of serverless solutions.

• Act as the primary point of contact for automating CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins and Bitbucket.

• Combine automation with microservices to guarantee agile, efficient, and secure processes.

• Execute and support microservices deployments using AWS Lambda and containers on ECS.

• Monitor the environment using New Relic to guarantee availability, performance, and visibility.

• Facilitate the swift and effective resolution of incidents and failures.

• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation regarding deployments, microservices infrastructure, and serverless architecture.

• Implement and manage security tools, DevSecOps practices, and vulnerability monitoring.

• Ensure a transition towards a more serverless architecture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, and ECS.

• Proficient in infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Capability to manage the migration and support of serverless solutions.

• Advanced expertise with Jenkins for automating CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with Bitbucket and GitHub as code repositories and GitOps platforms.

• Experience in continuous integration and deployment for microservices and serverless solutions.

• Proficient in implementing New Relic for monitoring, dashboards, and alerts.

• Application of IAM best practices and secure network management within AWS.

• Strong background in deploying and managing microservices using AWS Lambda and ECS.

• Ability to produce and maintain clear, detailed technical documentation.

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (required).

• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate (preferred).
