DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Utilize AI tools to facilitate the swift development and enhancement of our various environments and supporting infrastructure.

• Collaborate within the DevOps team to uphold and oversee our entire infrastructure portfolio.

• Create and implement new services within our cloud-hosted environments.

• Address incidents in critical environments and assist in driving resolution.

• Serve as a force multiplier for our engineering team, enabling them to deliver products safely and securely.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional communicator capable of collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Strong problem-solving skills with practical experience in technologies such as Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, networking, and cloud environments.

• Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and a good level of proficiency with Git.

• Comfortable with software development or scripting.

• Advocate for cyber security best practices.

• Inquisitive and self-driven, with a proven ability to quickly learn new technologies.

• Experienced in DevOps and/or infrastructure support (SRE) roles.

• Familiarity with Linkerd service mesh.

• Experience with Hashicorp Terraform and Vault.

• Proficient with CockroachDB and/or MySQL, along with a general understanding of low-level databases.

• Knowledgeable about GCP and Cloudflare product suites.
