This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Become part of a development team, collaborating seamlessly with fellow developers.
• Design and sustain systems, APIs, automation processes, and integrations with bots.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance custom applications within the Zendesk platform.
• Deliver fully functional features from the development stage to production (dev → production) with a high level of autonomy and ownership.
• Engage actively in technical discussions and refinements to meet squad requirements.
• Work closely with the Tech Lead and senior developers to advance the technical capabilities of systems.
• Participate constructively in code reviews to uphold the quality of the team's code.
• Take responsibility for your time estimates, proactively addressing risks and obstacles.
• Strong expertise in developing responsive Single Page Applications (SPAs) using ReactJS, which is essential for creating custom applications.
• Proficiency in managing local and global state utilizing State, Reducers, and Context API.
• Effective use of native hooks and the ability to create custom hooks.
• Adherence to best practices for componentization, code reuse, and application architecture.
• Practical experience with TypeScript and a robust understanding of typing, interfaces, and best practices to maintain safe and clean code.
• Familiarity with data validation libraries such as JOI, ZOD, or similar tools.
• Experience with build, bundling, and linting tools (e.g., Vite, Webpack, ESLint, Prettier).
• Background in building and consuming RESTful APIs and web services, which is crucial for integrations and bot webhooks.
• Experience with queues and asynchronous processing (e.g., BullMQ, Redis).
• Understanding of caching concepts and query optimization to enhance performance.
• Additional essential knowledge includes security concepts such as authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth) and secure usage of third-party APIs.
• Proficient in Docker for daily tasks, including reading and modifying Dockerfiles and docker-compose files.
• Familiarity with core AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS).
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and deployment pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions or similar).
• Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of non-relational databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
• Nice-to-have: Prior experience with the Zendesk API or ZAF (Zendesk Apps Framework), creating bot flows (e.g., Blip, Chatwoot, ManyChat, or similar), and familiarity with event-driven architecture.
