This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Supervise the design teams and oversee project deliverables for all initiatives within a specific region or campus.

• Ensure that projects comply with the Design and Construction Standards (DACS) alongside any additional tenant requirements.

• Manage design team contracts to ensure adherence to the scope of services and compliance with deliverables.

• Take part in weekly design meetings with consultants and members of the Stream team.

• Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to offer technical guidance to the design team.

• Actively work with procurement team members to identify project equipment needs and confirm the accuracy of OFCI orders.

• Partner with the technical sales group to establish customer-specific project requirements.

• Organize and oversee design document reviews with Stream SMEs and construction team members at project milestones for feedback and assessment.

• Work in conjunction with third-party project managers on design direction specific to each project.

• Periodically visit job sites during construction to observe the implementation of design in the field.

• Attend and engage in OAC meetings during the construction phase.

• Monitor shop drawing and RFI logs, ensuring prompt responses from the design team.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or a comparable combination of education and relevant experience.

• 5-10 years of pertinent experience in a design project management position.

• Solid understanding of architectural, civil, structural, and MEP/FP design constraints.

• Familiarity with applicable building regulations, standards, best practices, and relevant codes.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting project drawings, specifications, and submittals.

• Experience in developing, managing, and comprehending design schedules and workflows.

• Willingness to travel to job site locations as required.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, and SharePoint.
