Design Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the Brand: Define, develop, and safeguard the visual identity of Golden Steps.

• Ensure uniformity across web platforms, social media, print materials, clinics, and internal communications.

• Create and manage a scalable design system along with an asset library.

• Conceptualize and implement campaigns across digital, social media, email, events, and recruitment.

• Translate strategic objectives into engaging and high-performing creative content.

• Enhance creative output for optimal performance in areas such as conversion, engagement, and recruitment.

• Oversee freelancers and/or internal designers as the team expands.

• Design in-clinic environments to evoke a warm, playful, and premium atmosphere.

• Assist with events, video productions, and memorable brand experiences for families.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in brand/design, either in an agency setting or in-house.

• A portfolio showcasing a diverse range and refined taste, including brand systems, campaigns, and digital projects.

• Strong grasp of performance-driven creative, focusing on effectiveness rather than just aesthetics.

• Proven experience in building or advancing a brand across various channels.

• Capability to maintain a balance between speed and quality in a rapidly growing environment.

• Comfort in collaborating across functions, including marketing, operations, recruitment, and clinical teams.

• A proactive mindset—you take initiative and create rather than wait.

• Preferred qualifications include experience in healthcare, multi-location, or mission-driven brands.

• Familiarity with video, motion graphics, or environmental design is a plus.

• Experience in scaling a design function from its inception is advantageous.
