Deputy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latvia.

📋 Description

• Serving as the Responsible Person (RP) for Abacus Medicine Latvia

• Developing and executing the local Quality Management System (QMS)

• Maintaining the Wholesaler Distribution Authorisation (WDA) and ensuring continuous compliance with GDP

• Supervising and qualifying a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) provider

• Preparing for and assisting with authority inspections

• Participating in QA meetings and acting as a GDP subject matter expert

• Promoting quality excellence and driving continuous improvement initiatives

• Collaborating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across borders

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Responsible Person or Deputy in the pharmaceutical sector

• Formal qualification to serve as RP and/or Deputy

• A Master’s degree in pharmacy, chemistry, or a related field

• Extensive knowledge of local GDP regulations and EU GDP guidelines (GMP knowledge is an asset)

• Demonstrated experience in establishing new wholesale licenses

• Must reside in Latvia and possess a valid work permit

• Fluent communication skills in English and the local language (additional European languages are advantageous)
