Deployment Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of and enhance the IVIX on-premise deployment architecture from start to finish, influencing engineering decisions regarding its construction, scalability, and ongoing improvements.

• Implement intricate deployments in client environments, engaging directly with Kubernetes, containerized services, networking, storage, and multi-component infrastructure setups.

• Act as the primary technical liaison with clients from pre-onboarding to go-live, facilitating technical discussions, setting expectations, and addressing any technical inquiries that arise during the deployment process.

• Convert RFP requirements and contractual specifications into organized installation plans, coordinating all components and managing the deployment schedule comprehensively.

• Assume full responsibility for post-deployment technical operations: troubleshooting infrastructure failures, addressing networking and connectivity challenges, and managing containerized service configurations across client environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a technical deployment, DevOps, or SRE role within a B2B or B2G enterprise software context.

• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux systems, networking fundamentals including firewall rules, DNS, VPN configurations, and virtualization platforms.

• Proven experience operating within security and compliance-centric environments, such as government, financial services, or similarly regulated industries.

• Strong interpersonal skills to complement technical expertise. Capable of leading client technical reviews, navigating challenging technical discussions, and communicating effectively with both engineers and executives.

• Excellent organizational and project management abilities, capable of handling multiple client deployments, timelines, and moving components simultaneously.

• Capacity to work independently in a remote role based in the US, while closely collaborating with an Israel-based team across different time zones.

• Specific experience in on-premise deployments. While cloud-native engineers with robust internal knowledge are considered, prior on-premise exposure is a significant advantage.

• Proficiency in Python for scripting, data processing, or integrations.

• Fluency in Spanish.

• Experience working in US-based roles within technology companies founded in Israel.
