Data Solutions Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Conducting discussions with clients and transforming their needs into Big/Cloud Data projects.

• Advising on the selection of technologies and architectures, considering costs, risks, and potential benefits.

• Designing Big/Cloud Data solutions in collaboration with engineering teams.

• Supporting sales through expert knowledge.

• Analyzing client organizations to identify both technical and business threats and opportunities.

• Co-creating strategies and visions for the development of the Data Solutions line within our company.

• Building and nurturing a community of engineers in the data field, fostering knowledge exchange both within the business line and across the organization.

• Enhancing the expert image of the Data Solutions business line in the data industry by engaging in external forums (e.g., speaking at industry conferences).

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in IT, including a minimum of 5 years in the Big/Cloud Data area.

• Experience in direct client engagement.

• Comfortable delivering presentations and easily establishing relationships; proficient in English at a C1 level and open to business travel.

• Ability to translate complex technological concepts into business language for both management and technical specialists.

• Capable of designing technical solutions with detailed alternatives at each stage and understanding the benefits and limitations of their application.

• Advanced knowledge of SQL and Azure.

• Familiarity with Databricks and other tools for processing and analyzing medium/large datasets (e.g., Apache, Spark, Synapse, Snowflake, MS Fabric).

• Proficient in estimating cloud infrastructure costs along with ROI (Return on Investment) and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership).

• Knowledge of Lambda and Kappa architectures, as well as Delta Lake and Data Lakehouse concepts.

• Fluent communication skills in Polish.
