This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Identify, automate, and continually enhance repeatable data processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness.
• Extract, manipulate, transform, model, visualize, analyze, and summarize accurate, relevant, timely, and cohesive data to meet business needs.
• Execute essential data requests, including journal entry testing, data extraction, reconciliations, and various analytical support activities.
• Develop, document, and implement support processes and testing procedures to guarantee that data deliverables are accurate, sustainable, and aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct due diligence on data sources to assess independence, completeness, and overall data integrity.
• Act as a liaison between data and business processes by effectively communicating with internal and external teams and recommending data-driven strategies that align with business goals.
• Contribute to the team's repository of data tools, scripts, and methodologies while collaborating in virtual and cross-functional environments to complete projects and additional tasks outside regular support activities.
• Manage work queues, keep team members updated on progress, and apply sound judgment, initiative, flexibility, and problem-solving skills in prioritizing and executing tasks.
• Continuously expand knowledge of data analytics concepts, tools, technologies, and data sources, and proactively seek mentorship to enhance technical and analytical skills.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding the information and data being processed, stored, and accessed by end users.
• Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with data tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, etc.
• High level of expertise in Excel.
• Understanding of accounting and audit principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
