Data Scientist / ML Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mali.

📋 Description

• Design and implement operational AI and machine learning solutions for Coface.

• Tackle use cases such as business-failure risk assessment, extraction of information from images and documents, custom search utilizing embeddings, knowledge graphs, and financial modeling and simulations.

• Employ software engineering methodologies to integrate solutions into internal tools and client-facing applications.

• Retrieve data from company databases.

• Oversee CI/CD pipelines to deploy applications and APIs on Docker/Kubernetes infrastructures, Apache Airflow, and within cloud environments.

• Collaborate in pairs or small teams on groundbreaking projects.

• Create and develop comprehensive solutions from data extraction and modeling to deployment and production monitoring.

• Engage in technology monitoring and facilitate knowledge sharing among team members.

• Deliver presentations and training sessions for team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or a related field in Data Science.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Strong proficiency in Python.

• Familiarity with best practices for code reviews and continuous integration.

• Experience with Linux and Git is required.

• Fluency in both English and French is essential.

• Must possess autonomy, curiosity, and meticulousness.

• Capability to complete a Python and Machine Learning technical evaluation without AI coding assistance.
