This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
β’ Develop, assess, and assist in the production of machine learning models for fraud detection; manage their continuous monitoring and retraining processes.
β’ Create and conduct experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of fraud interventions, balancing customer satisfaction with loss mitigation.
β’ Analyze fraud typologies across our product offerings to guide prioritization and investment strategies.
β’ Construct and uphold anomaly detection systems to identify emerging fraud patterns before they escalate.
β’ Collaborate closely with fraud operations, engineers, product managers, and data analysts to convert model results into actionable real-world solutions.
β’ A robust background in statistics with a degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field).
β’ Over 3 years of experience in data science, decision science, or risk analytics, specifically in fraud, payments, or financial crime.
β’ Practical experience in building and deploying machine learning models within a production setting.
β’ Experience in fraud, risk, or financial services is highly advantageous.
β’ Strong understanding of data science principles: experimentation, statistical inference, model evaluation, and feature engineering.
β’ Ability to thrive in dynamic, cross-functional teams with significant ownership responsibilities.
