This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in hands-on data analysis and modeling utilizing large data sets.

• Implement data mining, natural language processing (NLP), and both supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques to enhance relevance and personalization algorithms.

• Work in collaboration with product managers, software engineers, and designers to create experiments and minimum viable products.

• Identify, access, import, clean, and prepare data sources for modeling purposes.

• Generate and refine features from foundational data.

• Execute A/B tests, conduct statistical analyses, assess optimization impacts, and communicate findings effectively.

• Assess new design and technology trends for potential advantages for customers.

• Gather, validate, clean, integrate, and analyze data from various sources, including HPDMS.

• Conduct exploratory, statistical, and predictive analyses concerning human performance and mission readiness.

• Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, reports, and automated dashboards.

• Assist in the design, administration, analysis, and interpretation of surveys.

• Collaborate with program personnel, biostatisticians, clinicians, and cross-functional partners to convert findings into actionable recommendations.

• Create, document, and enhance analytical methods, models, and tools to address operational and health-related challenges.

• Present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders while ensuring the protection of sensitive information.

• Carry out other assigned duties.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline along with 3+ years of applicable professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.

• Possession of an active Secret security clearance.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• 1–3+ years of experience applying quantitative research, machine learning, and/or deep learning to enhance human decision-making.

• Over 1 year of experience utilizing machine learning/deep learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras.

• Familiarity with algorithms, including CNN, GAN, LSTM, RNN, and XGBOOST.

• At least 1 year of data engineering experience with Hadoop, SQL, HIVE, Spark, Snowflake, or similar technologies on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• A minimum of 1 year of programming experience in Python, Scala, or Julia.

• Proficient knowledge of cloud-based data storage and computing environments such as AWS SageMaker, Azure Databricks, or GCP AI Platform.

• Proven experience with statistical analysis tools, database systems, and data visualization platforms.

• Experience in preparing, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets.

• Capability to communicate technical insights to a wide range of technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience supporting government, defense, military health, or human performance programs is preferred.

• Experience in developing automated dashboards, predictive models, or decision-support tools.

• Understanding of data governance, privacy, security, and quality control practices.

• Familiarity with multidisciplinary health, performance, or readiness data.

• Experience deploying machine learning models with MLOps is a plus.

• Agile delivery experience is an advantage.

• Proficiency with PowerBI is a plus.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities, self-motivation, and a willingness to teach and learn.
