Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement AI/ML models tailored for various business applications, with a focus on privacy and compliance.

• Collaborate with data engineers and AI/ML engineers to create reliable, trustworthy data pipelines and ensure effective model deployment.

• Apply privacy-centric analytics methodologies to uphold data sovereignty and meet regulatory requirements.

• Conduct analyses of large, intricate datasets to derive significant insights and pinpoint actionable opportunities.

• Work alongside stakeholders to define project scopes and convey essential findings.

• Assess, monitor, and enhance the performance and transparency of AI solutions.

• Produce and sustain clear documentation, experiment records, and analytic artifacts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, and analytics.

• Proficiency in Python (or a similar language), SQL, and pertinent ML/data science libraries.

• Strong understanding of privacy-preserving techniques (such as federated learning and differential privacy) or a keen interest in privacy-first AI/ML development.

• Familiarity with data engineering and big data tools (e.g., Spark, Airflow, Kafka) is advantageous.

• Experience with cloud, hybrid, and/or on-premise infrastructures.

• Understanding of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, CCPA) and issues related to data sovereignty is a plus.

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities; a sense of curiosity and adaptability.
