This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Lead the research, discovery, and end-to-end development of machine learning solutions for the Cint Exchange, encompassing model development, deployment, maintenance, and performance assessment.
• Cultivate a predictive comprehension of marketplace dynamics, including price elasticity and the balance of supply and demand.
• Independently organize, develop, and sustain projects with minimal oversight.
• Examine extensive and varied datasets to inform the Exchange's product and pricing strategies.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Commercial, Operations, and Finance teams to design, execute, and evaluate products.
• Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning methodologies to address intricate business challenges.
• Perform exploratory analyses and spearhead A/B tests along with other sophisticated experiments.
• Generate visualizations and presentations that convey complex insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in a Data Science role.
• A Master’s degree or its equivalent in Statistics, Quantitative Sciences, Data Science, Operations Research, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Capability to manipulate, analyze, and interpret large, complex datasets independently.
• Proficiency in advanced statistical methods, including hypothesis testing, experimental design, regression analysis, causal inference, and A/B testing.
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques, such as clustering, regression, decision trees, and neural networks.
• Expertise in Python for statistical and machine learning applications.
• Proficient in SQL and experienced with large-scale databases.
• Capacity to research and adopt innovative methods, tools, and techniques.
• Strong data-oriented approach to converting business requests into analytical projects.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with marketplace dynamics, matching algorithms, or supply/demand optimization is an advantage.
• Knowledge of financial datasets, commercial forecasting, web analytics tools, survey exchange platforms, Databricks, Spark, or PySpark is a plus.
