This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Oversee the research, discovery, and end-to-end development of machine learning solutions for the Cint Exchange, which encompasses model development, deployment, maintenance, and performance assessment.
• Cultivate a predictive understanding of marketplace dynamics, focusing on price elasticity and the equilibrium of supply and demand.
• Plan, develop, and sustain projects independently with minimal guidance.
• Analyze extensive and varied datasets to produce insights that inform Exchange product and pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with teams from Product, Engineering, Commercial, Operations, and Finance to design, implement, and evaluate products.
• Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to tackle complex business challenges.
• Perform exploratory analyses and spearhead A/B tests and other experiments to confirm hypotheses.
• Develop visualizations, presentations, and other materials to convey insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in a Data Science role.
• Master’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Quantitative Sciences, Data Science, Operations Research, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Capability to independently manipulate, analyze, and interpret large, intricate datasets.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical methodologies, including hypothesis testing, parametric/non-parametric tests, survey design, experimental design, regression/predictive modeling, causal inference, and A/B testing.
• Familiarity with machine learning approaches, including clustering, regression, decision trees, and neural networks.
• Proficient in Python for statistical and machine learning applications.
• Proficient in SQL for managing large-scale databases.
• Willingness to research and integrate new methods, tools, and techniques.
• Demonstrated accountability, self-motivation, and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Ability to convert business requests into actionable analytical projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Experience with marketplace dynamics, matching algorithms, or supply/demand optimization is a plus.
• Familiarity with financial datasets, commercial forecasting, web analytics tools, user-interface optimization, survey exchange platforms, or online market research products is advantageous.
• Experience with Databricks, Spark, or PySpark is a plus.
