Data QA Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Conduct precise and efficient data extraction, labeling, and cleaning from email panels or AI-generated datasets to guarantee high-quality data.

• Observe and evaluate data trends for various merchants and vendors, including email categorization and trend recognition.

• Ensure the integrity of merchant and vendor data by investigating anomalies such as unexpected declines or increases in data volume.

• Collaborate with teams located in both China and the U.S. to maintain data consistency and quality.

• Respond promptly to the requests and inquiries of analysts and clients.

• Adhere to company policies regarding data security and confidentiality.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline;

• 0 - 2 years of experience as a data or quality assurance analyst;

• Proficiency in data tagging, cleaning, or Regex;

• Experience in managing multiple processes simultaneously;

• Basic data analysis skills and familiarity with Excel, SQL, or Python are advantageous;

• Understanding of accounting standards, capability to distinguish the company's accounting categories, and knowledge of the company's accounting records, ideally with experience using mainstream ERP systems like NetSuite, Ramp, or QBO;

• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking abilities;

• Ability to work autonomously while coordinating with a remote team;

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the capacity to engage effectively with vendors and internal teams across different time zones and cultures.
