Data Protection Manager – f/m/x

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Enhance and consistently refine IONITY’s Data Protection Management System

• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on GDPR and associated regulations

• Oversee and continually optimize Data Protection processes and workflows

• Perform assessments of Data Protection vendors

• Manage incidents involving personal data breaches

• Serve as the main contact for inquiries regarding Data Protection

• Facilitate compliance with the EU AI Act for AI-related use cases

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in law or a similar qualification

• In-depth understanding of the GDPR and other pertinent legislation

• Multiple years of professional experience in Data Protection

• Strong capacity to evaluate both legal and technical aspects of data processing

• Fundamental knowledge of IT security and relevant security standards

• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities in both German and English
