This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage directly with TelCo clients to perform investigative analytics, uncover emerging fraud trends, and generate insights that can only be derived from cross-industry consortium data.
• Collaborate with client teams to co-create customized fraud detection models, guiding them through Experian's proprietary data, analytics environment, and fraud detection techniques.
• Educate and onboard clients onto the platform, aiding them in developing familiarity and confidence with Experian's analytics ecosystem.
• Convert ambiguous client inquiries and requirements into well-structured hypotheses and analytical plans, executing them independently and clearly presenting findings.
• Establish and implement a repeatable, scalable proof-of-value process that showcases the consortium's value to both prospective and existing clients.
• Develop reusable tools, templates, and analytical frameworks that support consistent and efficient service delivery as the consortium expands.
• Build trust and credibility with client analysts, executives, and internal Experian product and sales teams.
• Work alongside Experian's product team as an expert user, offering direct input to shape the development roadmap.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
• An undergraduate or graduate degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Electrical Engineering, or a similar quantitative discipline, or a comparable combination of education and experience that demonstrates quantitative reasoning and analytical skills.
• Extensive expertise in analytics and machine learning, with practical experience covering the entire modeling lifecycle; preference for experience in fraud, credit, or TelCo analytics.
• An investigative analytics mindset—skilled in identifying patterns, formulating hypotheses, and deriving significant conclusions from large data sets.
• Proven ability to work independently, translate unclear client needs into well-defined hypotheses, and execute clear analytical plans from inception to completion.
• Experience in directly collaborating with clients or business partners in a consulting or advisory capacity, establishing confidence and credibility with both technical and executive audiences.
• Experience in designing or contributing to scalable analytical processes, tools, or frameworks.
• Proficient in Python for data analysis and machine learning, including knowledge of PySpark, Polars, NumPy, and Pandas; familiarity with large-scale data processing frameworks and cloud platforms, particularly Spark and AWS.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site client workshops and engagements.
