This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the Data and Analytics Director along with data, digital, and field teams to achieve organizational and programmatic objectives.

• Create MOCHAs, update project management tools like AirTable or Asana, and aid staff in fulfilling project requirements and timelines.

• Define timelines for significant milestones and modify work plans as necessary.

• Oversee field strategy, data analysis, and coordination for direct voter outreach initiatives.

• Offer data-driven insights regarding campaign field strategies and targeting efforts.

• Construct and sustain direct voter contact databases for field, mail, and digital initiatives.

• Develop SQL queries and upload voter contact universe criteria to GitHub.

• Advise on voter communications according to the program phase and tactics employed.

• Manage voter file access, resources, markers, training, and technical support.

• Drive the revamp and ongoing management of EveryAction data-management workflows.

• Promote data best practices through conferences, briefings, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

• Oversee the JIRA ticketing system, including request types, assignments, timelines, and troubleshooting tasks.

• Establish and uphold data-collection best practices within organizing teams.

• Facilitate the development of reporting infrastructure, provide dashboard feedback, conduct code reviews, and assist in testing and troubleshooting.

• Keep records of technology and data products and processes in the shared drive.

• Provide data management assistance concerning activist codes, survey structures, automations, and committee frameworks.

• Conduct annual audits of platforms to ensure correct data-collection configurations.

• Aid coalition alignment on voter-file resources, targeting, data, and tactics.

• Cultivate relationships with state teams, resolve voter-file issues, and advocate for organizer requirements.

• Formulate data collection and maintenance strategies for organizing programs and tools.

• Design an organizing journey across c3 and c4 programming to minimize manual maintenance.

• Support the adoption of organizing platforms and promote data-informed best practices.

• Engage in staff meetings, study sessions, retreats, strategy development, implementation, work planning, fundraising, and budget formulation.

• Assist with contract evaluations, renewals, scopes of work, platform onboarding, and platform sunsetting.

• Complete work plans, reports, and professional development initiatives; perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven and creative Data Manager.

• Capability to support organizing platforms and implement analytics best practices.

• Proficient in utilizing CRM and voter-file data across c3, c4, and PAC operations.

• Experience or capability with project management tools such as AirTable or Asana.

• Competency in developing MOCHAs, timelines, milestones, and work plans.

• Ability to conduct data analysis and coordinate direct voter outreach strategies.

• Skill in building and maintaining voter contact databases for field, mail, and digital programs.

• Proficient in SQL query development.

• Familiarity with GitHub for committing voter contact universe criteria.

• Knowledgeable in voter-file management and access administration.

• Ability to provide end-user training and technical support.

• Experience or capability to manage EveryAction workflows and database structures.

• Awareness of data compliance requirements for multi-entity organizations.

• Ability to document data dictionaries, model release notes, and partner analyses.

• Proficient in JIRA ticketing system administration and technical troubleshooting.

• Ability to establish data-collection and data-maintenance best practices.

• Skill in developing and testing reporting infrastructure and dashboards.

• Capability to review code and troubleshoot report functionality.

• Knowledgeable in activist codes, survey-question structures, automations, and committee frameworks.

• Ability to collaborate with voter-file vendors and coalition partners.

• Willingness to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.

• Must be able to operate in a bargaining-unit/union environment.
