This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identifying and structuring data sources, typically located in Databricks, for all initiatives that LMI undertakes within the USPS framework.
• Collaborating with project managers to organize their data, establish data hygiene practices, and develop a system for updating and visualizing data to satisfy client requirements.
• Performing data analysis using advanced tools to surpass client expectations while ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
• Acquiring knowledge on utilizing new data sources and tools to keep LMI and our project team aligned with USPS data trends and policies.
• Supporting project managers in addressing complex inquiries related to their projects by leveraging the data you oversee and monitor.
• Exhibiting a readiness to explore new AI/ML tools that will improve your efficiency in completing tasks and delivering exceptional service to our USPS client.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a data-centric role (e.g., data manager, data analyst, business intelligence analyst, or similar).
• Proven experience in managing multiple projects or departments and consolidating data from various sources.
• Expertise in working with relational databases and crafting queries (e.g., SQL).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Databricks, or similar).
• Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas, charts).
• Experience with fundamental data modeling and data cleaning/validation techniques.
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language for data manipulation (e.g., Python, R), or a strong eagerness to learn quickly.
• Comprehension of data quality, data governance, and version control practices.
• Capability to create and sustain clear, well-documented data structures, dashboards, and reports.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance – US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).
