Data Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Supporting data initiatives, program operations, and analytics engineering tasks.

• Collaborating with colleagues, various departments, and external partners as necessary to ensure the successful and efficient completion of data projects.

• Cleaning datasets and maintaining reports and dashboards for both internal and external stakeholders to monitor essential metrics.

• Assisting the leadership of the Empower Project in tracking and identifying trends within the mobilizer recruitment pipeline.

• Engaging with voter file data, targets, and research to facilitate program growth at both the top and bottom of the funnel.

• Providing support to program leadership with additional activities as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Python programming within a data context.

• Familiarity with standard data science libraries such as Pandas, Polars, etc.

• Willingness to learn and implement various platform APIs.

• Capability to write clean and reusable code suitable for production environments.

• Experience in data/analytics engineering.

• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and managing code repositories.

• Proficient in querying SQL databases.

• Experience in creating data visualizations (e.g., Tableau, Looker Studio).

• Familiarity with BigQuery and other products from Google Cloud Platform.

• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis.

• Experience working with voter file data.
