Data Lead – Advanced Primary Care Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the analytical strategy for Cadence's digital primary care program from start to finish by determining essential outcomes and KPIs, diagnosing ambiguous operational and clinical challenges, and acting as the primary thought partner to clinical and operational leadership; analyze patient vitals, EHR data, and clinician-generated data to uncover insights that bridge care gaps, enhance outcomes, and guide program strategy.

• Establish and convey outcome frameworks for AI-driven primary care, transforming clinical and operational performance into clear, credible narratives for external stakeholders, including health systems and payers, while serving as the analytical representative in these discussions.

• Create and develop key data models in dbt from the ground up, setting canonical metric definitions, data collection standards, and the structural foundation relied upon by the broader team; ensure the modern data stack (Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt) is well-maintained, accurate, documented, and scalable.

• Provide advanced analytics across the entire stack, from pipeline development and data engineering to predictive modeling, staffing and capacity forecasting, and revenue modeling in collaboration with operations and executive leadership.

• Construct and sustain reports and dashboards that track growth, engagement, clinical outcomes, and Cadence's proven value to patients and health system partners with metrics that are reliable and linked to decision-making.

• Integrate AI effectively into the analytics function by pinpointing high-value use cases, developing reusable workflows and automation, and spearheading the adoption of LLM-assisted tools that minimize manual work and broaden the team's output.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 9 years of experience with SQL or other data querying languages, with practical experience in building and maintaining analytics, reporting, and dashboard solutions.

• Expertise in modern data stack tools such as Snowflake, Fivetran, and dbt, or comparable technologies.

• A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Solid understanding of statistics and data analysis techniques, with the capability to clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with clinical or health data—including patient vitals, EHR records, or outcomes data—and familiarity with the data structures and sensitivity considerations associated with it.

• Proficiency with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted development tools; proven experience in building or assessing AI-powered systems in production and the ability to articulate how AI-driven care models operate to clinical, operational, and external partner audiences.
