Data Labeller – Japanese Visual Content

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Labeling, annotating, and assessing images, graphics, videos, stickers, designs, and various other data types within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment, in line with internal labeling protocols.

• Assessing AI-generated content in your native language, focusing on linguistic quality, precision, and cultural relevance for LOTE markets.

• Developing and enhancing language-specific datasets to facilitate the internationalization of Canva AI features.

• Delivering labeled assets according to established timelines and achieving output targets for each labeling task.

• Reviewing and improving your own labels based on feedback to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Being proactive and consistently monitoring all communications regarding task submissions and updates.

• Effectively managing your own time to guarantee timely task completion.

• Actively participating in and attending all briefing and run-through sessions.

• Adhering to Canva’s data security and confidentiality policies.

• Collaborating with in-house team members to maintain alignment on quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native proficiency in Japanese is essential.

• Experience as a multimedia designer with a robust portfolio demonstrating a strong grasp of visual communication principles.

• Outstanding organizational abilities and a sharp attention to detail.

• Capacity to quickly adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

• Basic knowledge of data annotation is a plus, but not mandatory.
