This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Organize activities pertaining to data governance, including data cataloging, data quality, and data security;
• Assist and advise business areas in identifying data owners and outlining their responsibilities;
• Aid in the development of policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the proper and secure handling of data;
• Foster awareness and participation regarding the significance of data governance;
• Track and evaluate key metrics within the analytics environment to facilitate enhancements;
• Assist in establishing strategic goals for data governance that align with business priorities;
• Partner with data leaders to implement initiatives that enhance the organization's data maturity.
• Extensive experience in data governance, policy formulation, and process management;
• Proficiency with contemporary data architectures (data lake, data lakehouse, etc.);
• Understanding of data quality, security, and compliance methodologies;
• Capability to engage with stakeholders and advocate for a data-driven culture;
• Familiarity with governance frameworks is a plus (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK);
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Oracle, Snowflake);
• Knowledge of data architecture and integration with engineering and analytics teams;
• Relevant certifications in data governance or data management.
