Data Engineer, Snowflake

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Designing, overseeing, and enhancing data pipelines, views, and models.

• Efficiently transitioning models into production for primary data and analytics users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in the Snowflake data platform, including SQL and Python.

• Familiarity with GitHub and workflows.

• Experience with Open Flow (Snowflake hosted is advantageous).

• Skilled in developing event-driven ingestion pipelines on AWS, SNS, S3, etc.

• Knowledge of DBT, specifically DBT Core or DBT Project (not cloud-based).

• Experience with Amazon Redshift is a plus.

• Background in data platform migration (preferably from Redshift to Snowflake).

• Competence in data reconciliation.

• This is a client-facing position, so strong communication skills are essential.

• Required English proficiency: B2 - Independent users who can communicate effortlessly with native speakers.
