Data Engineer – Mid Shift

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with predictive modelers to compile extensive and intricate data sets aimed at addressing business challenges and enhancing profitability.

• Execute data manipulation and transformation tasks utilizing SQL and Python.

• Identify, design, and implement enhancements to internal processes: automating manual tasks and streamlining data pipelines.

• Investigate and uncover new data sources with an inquisitive and innovative approach.

• Develop and sustain optimal architecture for data pipelines.

• Produce detailed and accessible documentation for data pipelines and technical solutions.

• Ensure the quality and completeness of data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases, including query authoring.

• A proven track record of manipulating, processing, and deriving value from large, disparate datasets.

• Familiarity with Data Integration Services (SSIS, Azure Data Factory, etc.).

• Ideally, 3 or more years of experience in a Data Engineer role or a related position using SQL and/or Python.

• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

• Exceptional critical thinking skills to identify complex data challenges.

• Experience with cloud technologies and Python is advantageous.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

• Ability to effectively communicate with diverse target audiences.
