Data Engineer – Mid-level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain robust and dependable data pipelines using Python and PostgreSQL, encompassing ingestion, transformation, and loading processes (ETL/ELT).

• Design and refine data models, ensuring the integrity, performance, and traceability of relational schemas.

• Establish and oversee data quality protocols to identify inconsistencies, duplicates, and integrity issues prior to analysis.

• Develop and enhance dashboards, reports, and analytical applications utilizing Streamlit or similar platforms, focusing on operational, therapeutic, clinical, and outcome analyses for clients including healthcare payers and operators.

• Organize and advance the team's data architecture, ensuring alignment of pipelines, repositories, and visualizations with the defined product structure.

• Document business rules, indicator methodologies, and technical decisions to prevent knowledge from being concentrated in one individual.

• Collaborate closely with the product team to convert complex clinical rules into actionable analyses, models, and visualizations.

• Ensure compliance with the LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law) in handling data, particularly concerning sensitive health information.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Python for data management, including pandas, automation, and data manipulation.

• Proficient in PostgreSQL, with skills in relational modeling, advanced queries, and optimization.

• Familiarity with best practices in code version control using Git.

• Experience with Streamlit or comparable data visualization platforms.

• Ability to work independently, effectively document your processes, and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.

• Knowledge of Azure is a plus.
