This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, construct, and manage data pipelines, applications, workflows, and governance functionalities within the Palantir platform.
• Create and configure data pipelines utilizing Code Repositories and Pipeline Builder.
• Develop applications and workflows using Workshop and Slate within the Palantir environment.
• Gather, transform, cleanse, and verify data.
• Create and sustain governance applications that monitor platform performance, compliance, and operational health.
• Execute and uphold platform-driven automation and monitoring systems.
• Collaborate with non-technical users to capture requirements.
• Identify, summarize, and document data fidelity issues, proposing solutions or mitigations.
• Utilize industrial engineering techniques to enhance depot and sustainment processes.
• Perform capacity, throughput, and bottleneck assessments for depot maintenance, MRO, supply chain, and production settings.
• Integrate ERP/MRO/maintenance data into simulation models for forecasting, scheduling, and scenario analysis.
• Work with operations, supply chain, engineering, and analytics stakeholders on what-if analyses.
• Prepare decision-support presentations, visualizations, and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Assist in advanced analytics and digital engineering strategies, including predictive modeling and digital twins.
• Establish trusted client relationships to comprehend missions, challenges, and goals.
• Contribute to business development efforts through RFPs/RFIs, white papers, pitch decks, and capability presentations.
• Active and maintained Secret Federal or DoD security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• A minimum of three years of practical experience in data engineering and/or database management.
• Hands-on expertise with Foundry Code Repositories, Pipeline Builder, Workshop, Slate, and Machinery, or equivalent Palantir platform experience.
• Proficiency in developing data pipelines, user interfaces, workflows, and automations within Palantir.
• Experience in supporting performance monitoring and operational tools within Foundry.
• Strong scripting or programming skills; PySpark is preferred.
• Ability to identify data issues impacting data pipeline performance and formulate resolution or mitigation strategies.
• Capability to support remote, hybrid, and on-site projects within the DC metro area.
• Preferred six years of hands-on experience in data engineering, industrial engineering, and/or operations research.
• Familiarity with relational database concepts and structures is preferred.
• Understanding of platform governance practices and observability is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field is preferred.
