This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Design, create, and manage scalable and dependable data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Guarantee that high-quality data is available, reliable, and prepared for analytics and data science applications.
• Develop and sustain data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and export across various sources and destinations.
• Create and enhance scalable data architecture to fulfill business and performance needs.
• Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to provide curated, analysis-ready datasets and facilitate self-service analytics.
• Apply best practices for data quality, testing, monitoring, lineage, and reliability.
• Enhance workflows for performance, cost efficiency, and scalability (e.g., optimizing Spark jobs, query tuning, partitioning techniques).
• Ensure secure data management and adherence to relevant data protection regulations and internal policies.
• Contribute to the documentation, standards, and ongoing improvement of data platform and engineering practices.
• Ensure secure and compliant management of data and models, including access controls, auditability, and governance measures.
• Develop and oversee MLOps automation: CI/CD for machine learning, environment management, artifact handling, and versioning of data/models/code.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• Over 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer, responsible for building and maintaining production-grade pipelines and datasets.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with a strong grasp of data structures, performance, and optimization techniques for ETL/ELT processes.
• Practical experience with orchestration tools (such as Airflow, Dagster, Databricks Workflows) and distributed processing within a cloud environment.
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud service provider (GCP, AWS, Azure) and deploying data solutions in the cloud.
• Strong troubleshooting skills: capability to diagnose issues across data, infrastructure, pipelines, and deployments.
