Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create and implement contemporary data platforms utilizing tools such as Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Fivetran, Coalesce, dbt, and Power BI.

• Develop and sustain scalable data pipelines and models.

• Ensure adherence to data quality, reliability, and governance standards.

• Assist in data integration, transformation, and warehousing activities.

• Contribute to the establishment of internal standards, frameworks, and best practices.

• Collaborate with technical teams to enhance data architecture and performance.

• Continuously refine data workflows and engineering methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering or the delivery of modern data platforms.

• Strong expertise in SQL and Python.

• Practical experience with Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Fivetran, Coalesce, or dbt (data build tool).

• Comprehensive understanding of medallion architecture and dimensional modeling.

• Familiarity with data governance and metadata tools like Microsoft Purview and Coalesce Catalog.

• Experience utilizing AI tools such as Claude, Snowflake Cortex, or similar to expedite development.

• Proven experience in building data pipelines and products that support AI/ML use cases, with an understanding of clean, model-ready data.

• Demonstrated capability to own and deliver projects from start to finish with measurable results.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with clients directly.

• Consulting experience is advantageous, but a strong client-first approach is essential.
