Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Utilize data engineering skills to create solution designs during both the bidding and delivery phases.

• Collaborate with delivery teams to conceptualize and execute modern, scalable data products leveraging various innovative technologies.

• Take the lead on all facets of data solutions, including establishing data standards and offering your extensive technical knowledge to Leidos program teams.

• Apply data modeling concepts and principles to develop relevant data models spanning multiple subject areas.

• Partner with clients on all facets of data management, ensuring the assurance and integration of data services that cater to the requirements of multiple business lines.

• Identify and capitalize on business opportunities by utilizing best practices in data engineering and design.

• Effectively communicate across organizational, technical, and political boundaries, with a clear understanding of the context.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience as a Data Engineer or a background in Data Management.

• Proficiency in Data Modeling and Database Design.

• Experience in Data Platform Modernization.

• Knowledge of Biometric Data Management and relevant legislation.

• Expertise in Data Science / Analytics.

• Familiarity with Predictive Scaling techniques.

• Proficient in Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence.

• Experience with Data Migration.

• Knowledge of Metadata Management.

• Skills in Stakeholder Management & Data Governance.

• Contribution to pre-sales content and pricing for new business initiatives.

• Experience in Large-scale Data Management (petabytes).

• Understanding or experience in a Scaled Agile or Agile delivery methodology.

• Knowledge of operating within a secure by design delivery framework.
