Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +18 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and sustain effective ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing dbt, Python, and SQL.

• Operate within AWS and Snowflake ecosystems to oversee data storage, processing, and accessibility.

• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and application developers to provide clean and well-structured data.

• Create solutions that incorporate healthcare revenue cycle data (e.g., 835/837 files).

• Execute data validation, lineage tracking, and governance protocols.

• Assist downstream systems by supplying curated datasets.

• Play a role in the modernization of outdated systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related domain.

• Practical experience with dbt, Snowflake, and cloud services (preferably AWS).

• Proficient SQL skills.

• Moderate proficiency in Python.

• Experience with healthcare data, particularly in revenue cycle management, is strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of ETL tools, CI/CD workflows, and version control systems (e.g., GitHub).

• Familiarity with data governance and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA).
