Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• Develop effective schemas for analytical queries, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.

• Uphold data governance and compliance by following relevant regulations and standards.

• Establish data governance frameworks to safeguard data quality, integrity, and security.

• Connect with multiple services and APIs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English at an advanced level.

• Python: Strong grasp of the language and its applications in data tools, including libraries like pandas and related tools.

• Airflow: Experience in creating DAGs, maintaining workflows, and integrating with dbt-core.

• dbt: Skillful in developing and maintaining models and macros in dbt-core (not dbt Cloud); experience in migrating SQL code to dbt.

• Git: Proficient in a layered deployment structure aligned with the Infrastructure team.

• SQL Server: Advanced expertise, encompassing tuning, performance assessment, and optimization.

• Medallion Architecture: Familiarity with Medallion Architecture operations (operational understanding).
