This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and manage data pipelines, ETL processes, and workflows to gather, clean, and convert data from diverse sources into accessible formats.

• Maintain data integrity, quality, and accuracy throughout all stages of the data processing lifecycle.

• Analyze and interpret healthcare claims data and associated datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and insights.

• Produce reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.

• Design, develop, and maintain databases, data models, and schemas for optimal data storage and retrieval.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in data analysis, engineering, and visualization.

• Identify opportunities to enhance data infrastructure, processes, and analytical capabilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in healthcare administration, data science, statistics, or a related field is preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a data analyst within the healthcare sector, ideally focusing on claims.

• Familiarity with health data, multi-payer databases, public healthcare payers, claims processing, and claims data analytics.

• Understanding of US healthcare policies, trends, and factors such as eligibility, utilization, cost, and equity.

• Knowledge of the state government's role in the healthcare system.

• Strong skills in data analysis and visualization using tools such as SQL, Python, R, Excel, or similar technologies.

• Proficient in data profiling, manipulation, and transformation using tools like Pandas, SQL, or comparable alternatives.

• Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.

• Familiarity with data modeling, database management, and cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Solid grasp of statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning concepts.

• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical abilities, with a strong attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner.
