Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Design and construct ETL/ELT data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform datasets from various sources.

• Apply best practices for performance tuning, partitioning, and clustering to enhance data query optimization.

• Adhere to data quality standards, data governance frameworks, and security policies regarding data storage and access.

• Develop and refine data models and schemas that support analytics, reporting, and machine learning needs.

• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to create data solutions that work seamlessly with BI tools and machine learning models.

• Produce thorough documentation for data pipelines, workflows, and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

• Expertise in Python, particularly in relation to ETL pipelines.

• Strong SQL skills with experience in crafting complex queries.

• Familiarity with deploying data pipelines in a cloud environment (such as Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration with data scientists and analysts.
