This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain the platform that delivers timely and accurate data for operational teams and business stakeholder decision makers.

• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Data Analysts to convert data into valuable business insights.

• Partner with DevOps to implement infrastructure as code and guarantee platform scalability.

• Launch new data pipelines.

• Create and establish data observability platforms and metrics.

• Design metadata-driven pipeline solutions.

• Oversee and enhance data transformations.

• Integrate third-party data solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Data Science.

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Experience utilizing infrastructure as code tools and methodologies.

• Proficiency in SQL-based and Python data manipulation with large datasets.

• Capability to operate a computer terminal with a monitor, keyboard, and mouse for extended durations.

• Ability to stoop, bend, and reach for equipment and supplies.

• Skill to perform frequent repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements necessary for computer operation.

• Capacity to lift, carry, push, pull, and move light objects weighing up to 20 pounds.

• Effective verbal communication skills.

• Ability to discern auditory information and visually notice details.

• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

• Preferred: Master's Degree in a quantitative field.

• Preferred: Experience with AWS and Terraform.

• Preferred: Experience in designing ELT/ETL workflows.

• Preferred: Programming experience in Python.

• Preferred: Experience in administering/tuning Snowflake.
