Data Center Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise the loading and unloading processes of incoming and outgoing freight to and from vehicles and containers, including managing shipping documentation and records.

• Conduct quality inspections on both inbound and outbound freight, verifying part numbers and quantities while ensuring that materials are in excellent condition.

• Carry out daily inventory cycle counts and replenish orders for essential spare parts located at the datacenter.

• Handle return shipments of various electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems.

• Manage and execute the placement of server racks on the datacenter floor, utilizing laser measuring devices to achieve 100% accuracy.

• Oversee and carry out the installation of electronic components and cabling into server racks by adhering to provided diagrams and schematics.

• Install rack hardware using a variety of hand, power, and measuring tools.

• Operate various types of material handling equipment, including straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks.

• Conduct and supervise cleanup activities in the workspace to maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance with 5S standards.

• Frequently push, pull, and lift throughout the workday.

• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities are essential.

• Critical thinking skills and robust analytical capabilities are necessary for this position.

• Proficiency with computers is required.

• Knowledge of electrical safety and protocols concerning static discharge hazards is mandatory, as this role involves working with live electrical and electronic equipment and components.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience is required.

• The ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation is necessary.

• Must successfully pass any federal, state, or local government background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol testing required by the company.
