This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate potential sites for data center viability, focusing on power, cooling, connectivity, land limitations, and permitting risks.
• Analyze design specifications, MEP plans, and construction documentation to assess feasibility and costs.
• Provide guidance on facility layout, power density, and economic considerations for buildouts ranging from 2.5 to 100MW, including high-density GPU/AI installations.
• Act as a technical liaison between Shadeform, our partnering landowner, and the construction and engineering teams.
• Utilize and expand your network of construction, engineering, and general contractor contacts as necessary.
• Proven experience in managing or supervising the development and construction of data center facilities, preferably within the sub-100MW range.
• Comprehensive understanding of power infrastructure, cooling systems, and site selection criteria.
• Established relationships within construction, MEP engineering, and general contracting sectors.
• Ability to work autonomously and adapt to a flexible, project-based schedule.
• Bonus: Experience with high-density AI-GPU deployments, powered land agreements, or colocation/hyperscale projects.
• Initial engagement as an independent contractor on a project basis.
• Clear progression to full-time employment as project opportunities expand.
