Data Architect – Modeling Focus

📋 Description

• Define and enhance enterprise data models (conceptual, logical, and physical);

• Design data architectures suitable for contemporary environments (Data Lake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse);

• Ensure that modeling standards are scalable, resilient, and oriented towards specific domains;

• Assist in establishing data architecture and engineering best practices;

• Collaborate with various business units to comprehend requirements and structure data solutions accordingly;

• Define and advocate for data governance, quality, and organizational standards;

• Act as a technical reference, providing support to engineering and analytics teams;

• Engage in the evolution of data pipelines and structures, ensuring compliance with established models.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in data modeling (dimensional, normalized, and analytical);

• Practical experience with modern data architectures (Data Lake, Lakehouse, modern Data Warehouse);

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly data services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, etc.);

• Proficient in SQL;

• Experience in integrating and organizing large-scale data;

• Knowledge of Data Vault methodologies;

• Background in high-volume, complex data environments;

• Understanding of data governance and data cataloging principles;

• Experience with data orchestration and transformation tools;

• Previous involvement in architecture modernization initiatives.
