This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

• Define and oversee the comprehensive data architecture that facilitates a scalable, secure, and business-aligned data platform.

• Set architectural standards, design patterns, and best practices across all data domains.

• Lead the evaluation and selection process for technologies within the cloud-native data platform stack.

• Drive the long-term roadmap for the platform, focusing on AI/ML readiness and data monetization capabilities.

• Design frameworks for metadata management, data lineage, and access control that comply with governance requirements.

• Integrate privacy-by-design, security, and compliance (including GDPR) into the architectural framework.

• Serve as the technical authority and design collaborator for Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and ML Engineers.

• Represent data architecture in cross-functional forums, ensuring alignment of platform decisions with business strategy.

• Over 8 years of experience in data engineering, platform, or architecture positions.

• Extensive expertise in designing large-scale cloud-native data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark, and modern data stack tools (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Kafka, Delta Lake).

• Demonstrated experience in data modeling (dimensional, Data Vault, lakehouse patterns) and API-first data design.

• Capacity to articulate architectural decisions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
