Data Analyst I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Extracts knowledge and insights from large volumes of high-dimensional data to investigate intricate business challenges using various data preparation, modeling, analysis, and visualization techniques.

• Analyzes and identifies data patterns and trends to address business inquiries and enhance decision-making.

• Contributes to complex Data Science and Big Data Mining projects.

• Recognizes opportunities to improve efficiency and automate data analysis processes.

• Designs and implements corporate Power BI solutions that interface with Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Lake Storage.

• Develops and maintains Service Now data to support DnA solutions.

• Comprehends and assists in maintaining the corporate Denodo architecture.

• Creates and manages Denodo metadata.

• Understands business objectives, defines performance metrics, and drives data-driven strategies to meet them.

• Collaborates across functions to support multiple key stakeholders and provide insights.

• Works with the DnA Team and business users to produce Business Intelligence visualizations.

• Evaluates ServiceNow issues to identify and propose solutions to strategic DnA challenges.

• Conducts complex data analyses, identifies root causes of system and process issues, and develops solutions.

• Assesses the end-to-end process and identifies enhancement opportunities; develops dashboards and reports insights.

• Defines objectives based on business requirements; assists business analysts, data analysts, and data scientists in data analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with large-scale datasets, analyzing data to resolve business challenges, and presenting impactful insights across all levels of a corporate hierarchy.

• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL tools utilized in data modeling and mining processes.

• Experience in data warehousing and a solid understanding of data extraction techniques such as ETL processing.

• Ability to collaborate with various business partners and excel in a fast-paced environment.

• Skill in interpreting insights from both quantitative and qualitative data.

• Technical leadership experience to mentor other analysts and ensure adherence to best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or a related field.
