This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Create, develop, and sustain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that aid Finance and Business Insurance objectives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect reporting requirements and convert business needs into analytical solutions.
• Construct data models and formulate DAX measures to produce scalable, user-friendly dashboards.
• Extract, clean, validate, and transform data from various sources utilizing SQL, Power BI, Excel, and additional reporting tools.
• Develop automated reporting solutions employing Excel macros, VBA, Python, or similar technologies.
• Conduct data quality analysis, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective measures to ensure accurate reporting.
• Assist in financial planning, trend analysis, capital expense reporting, and monitoring business performance.
• Create dynamic reporting models to facilitate agent segmentation, promotions, profitability analysis, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Work alongside business and implementation teams to validate outcomes and track post-launch performance.
• Aid in system enhancements, testing activities, and improvements to the reporting infrastructure.
• Effectively communicate technical findings and business insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strive for continuous improvement in reporting processes, dashboard usability, and data visualization standards.
• Several years of experience in business intelligence, financial reporting, data analytics, or a related field.
• Proficient experience in developing dashboards using **Power BI**, including DAX and data modeling.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, encompassing PivotTables, Power Query, macros, data modeling, and complex formulas.
• Strong SQL capabilities with the ability to craft queries from scratch and handle large datasets.
• Familiarity with ODBC data connections, relational databases, and data warehouses.
• Experience with VBA, Python, or other automation tools is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proven experience in validating data quality and resolving reporting issues.
• Ability to articulate complex data insights clearly to business stakeholders.
• Strong customer service orientation with the capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus.
