This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• This role is essential in driving IH&S’s finance data transformation efforts by concentrating on the development and upkeep of Power BI dashboards, facilitating standardized financial reporting, and converting intricate financial and operational data into straightforward, actionable insights.
• Constructing data models and establishing processes for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles, guaranteeing the accuracy, consistency, and punctuality of data.
• Examining financial and operational data to uncover methods for capturing and reporting trends, variances, risks, and opportunities, and sharing findings with finance leadership.
• Collaborating with Finance, Accounting, Commercial, IT, and Operations teams to ensure data consistency and alignment among the tools (dashboards/reports) used for financial reporting and monitoring business performance drivers.
• Managing and prioritizing reporting and analytics backlogs while utilizing the Agile framework.
• Assisting in executive-level reporting by creating clear, concise, and visually appealing dashboards and summaries.
• Contributing to finance and business transformation initiatives, including the automation of reporting processes and enhancements in data accessibility and usability.
• Supporting various workflows by developing financial KPI calculation logic and creating PBI visuals for leadership consumption.
• Aiding in standardized reporting frameworks and ongoing transformation initiatives related to forecasting, reporting standardization, and data governance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a focus on quantitative methods, statistical modeling, and data science.
• Over 3 years of experience in financial analysis, business intelligence, or data analytics roles within a manufacturing financial environment.
• In-depth understanding of and experience with financial accounting concepts, including financial reporting, cost accounting, FP&A, and KPI development.
• Knowledge of ERP software is essential, with proficiency in JD Edwards being preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology is advantageous, especially outside traditional software design contexts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of translating complex business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• High proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and data modeling.
• A keen attention to detail, consistently applying audit trails, versioning, and documented best practices.
