Data Analyst – Data Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Accountable for gathering, compiling, and analyzing extensive volumes of unstructured data, interpreting the findings, and supporting the development of strategies and decision-making to foster business growth.

• Extract data from both primary and secondary sources;

• Cleanse and structure data to eliminate irrelevant information;

• Analyze and interpret outcomes utilizing statistical tools and techniques;

• Recognize trends and patterns within datasets;

• Discover new opportunities for process enhancement;

• Design, construct, and manage databases and data systems;

• Resolve coding issues and data-related challenges;

• Assist in monitoring and supporting the client’s data platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or an equivalent undergraduate degree supplemented by a postgraduate certificate (specialization, master’s, or doctorate) in Information Technology comprising at least 360 hours.

• Preferred experience: 2 years in the extraction, modeling, and organization of large data volumes for analytical purposes.

• Proficiency in advanced SQL, Python (Pandas), Shell Script, or similar languages;

• ETL experience with tools such as Pentaho, Talend, SSIS, Apache NiFi, or comparable software;

• Familiarity with databases including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL;

• Experience with cloud storage solutions (Azure Data Lake, AWS S3) and API integrations;

• Understanding of Data Warehouse concepts, including dimensional and normalized data modeling;

• Knowledge of version control (Git) and job orchestration/control tools (Airflow, cron).
