Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate intricate spreadsheets, benchmark data, research outcomes, and various structured or unstructured data sources to uncover actionable insights.

• Partner with writers and engineers to validate and execute those insights.

• Detect trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities within extensive datasets and convey findings to both internal and client stakeholders.

• Collaborate with strategists, analysts, designers, and subject-matter experts to enhance client engagements with data-driven recommendations.

• Develop expertise in high-tech topics and the data that underpins them.

• Function as a member of a cross-functional, multi-purpose team where collective success relies on every individual.

• Ensure timely delivery of project outputs in accordance with a schedule you help to establish.

• Adapt effectively in a dynamic environment, prioritize various tasks, work with minimal or remote supervision, and provide regular status updates while managing multiple projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven ability to analyze complex spreadsheets, reports, research data, or benchmark results and pinpoint the most pertinent findings.

• Strong analytical judgment, capable of differentiating significant data points from background noise and drawing defensible conclusions.

• Experience engaging with both quantitative and qualitative data sources.

• Experience in transforming data into insightful information and simplifying complex concepts into understandable and relatable examples is highly advantageous.

• Demonstrated capacity to quickly learn new technologies, comprehend supporting data, and identify the insights that are most relevant to a target audience.

• Excellent mathematical skills and advanced spreadsheet proficiency are required.

• Skills in creating spreadsheet charts and other data visualization techniques are essential.

• Comfort in navigating ambiguity, incomplete source materials, and evolving client directives while ensuring accuracy.

• Experience in an agency setting is a plus.
