Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latvia.

📋 Description

• Validate billing and invoicing information across the AppXite Platform.

• Conduct regular discrepancy assessments to ensure the accuracy and completeness of billing and invoicing data provided to partners.

• Examine data inconsistencies and determine the root causes of issues.

• Implement necessary manual corrections and configuration changes to guarantee timely invoice dispatch.

• Engage in monthly billing and invoicing cycles, including peak periods.

• Analyze extensive datasets to uncover anomalies, errors, and data quality concerns.

• Investigate incidents and work with internal teams to resolve issues.

• Run SQL scripts and carry out data validation tasks.

• Verify data across various systems, integrations, and vendor platforms.

• Assess billing and invoicing workflows to pinpoint opportunities for optimization.

• Outline requirements and development tasks essential for enhancing billing processes and data reliability.

• Participate in automation initiatives aimed at minimizing manual efforts and boosting operational efficiency.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for billing and invoicing functionalities.

• Assist internal teams by offering insights on platform behavior, data structures, and processes.

• Engage in discussions with customers and partners when expertise is required.

• Contribute to partner-specific projects by aiding in solution design, providing estimates, and ensuring successful delivery.

• Collaborate with Development, QA, Support, Product, and Operations teams.

• Mentor peers and enhance organizational knowledge through documentation, knowledge base articles, and process guides.

• Maintain a robust understanding of both business and technical facets of the platform.

• Continuously broaden expertise in cloud commerce, billing, invoicing, integrations, and vendor ecosystems.

• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in vendor platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient SQL scripting skills and experience with Microsoft SQL Server.

• Practical experience with Postman or similar API testing tools.

• Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and system integrations.

• Advanced Excel capabilities and experience handling large datasets.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to data integrity.

• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of responsibilities.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Capacity to stay focused and productive during complex investigations.

• Willingness to learn and pursue continuous improvement.

• Experience with billing, invoicing, financial systems, or cloud commerce platforms (preferred).

• Familiarity with ETL processes and data transformation workflows (preferred).

• Experience with Microsoft Azure services: Logic Apps, Data Factory, Storage Accounts, Function Apps, Application Insights (preferred).

• Ability to read and understand application code (e.g., C#) to assist in investigations and troubleshoot issues (preferred).

• Practical experience with AI tools to automate and enhance business processes (preferred).
